GARDVR™ is a unique solution which allows the alarm central to monitor the activities of your DVR, thus, making sure it is always connected and functioning properly.

There have been times where an unfavorable incident occurs and a DVR user logs onto the computer only to find a three day old system error message or a frozen application. System crashes can compromise your DVR operation without you being aware of it and can prevent the DVR from doing what it’s supposed to do when you need it the most. Similarly, if your DVR is working but the internet connection is down, the Monitoring Central will not be able to connect to it for video verification when they receive an alarm signal from the premises. GARDVR polls the DVR continuously much the same as a DVAC line and a signal is received at the central if the internet link is compromised or if any service running the DVR is interrupted or non functional.
